Hello Friends!

I hope you will enjoy this very casual and rambling phone conversation I had recently with old friend Mark Sisom. Mark is a respected local surfer, graphic and fine artist, as well as a photographer, writer and publisher. He is well known for his 20+ year tenure as guitarist for long running NJ punk reggae band Barry and the Penetrators. He originally called to discuss a cross country road trip he was embarking upon, but the conversation quickly veered off in many wild and interesting directions. Subjects include everything from Tears For Fears to Andy Warhol to (apparently) very popular hardcore band hate5six. I apologize in advance for the fact that I did not start the recording until about 30 minutes into the conversation as I was not expecting to record this random call from a friend. The missing portion is a discussion about vaccine fears and Jackson Pollock – hence the continued references to him and Warhol. Hype and promotion in the fine art world and technique versus “vibe” were also touched on.Enjoy!Dubby
